the snow is... pretty??

For the past 2 months or so that we've had snow it's been super ugly. I hate the snow, but for some reason walking to the bus today it looked... pretty.I don't know if it was because of the lighting (I love the light at 8 am) or what but I actually enjoyed walking today. I enjoyed looking at the snow and I even snapped a few photos. I know, I know weird right me liking the snow! What's going on here?? Somethings not right! It was like I was in a snow globe! I love snow globes!! :)

Valentines Day

I don't like Valentines Day, I think it's a stupid hallmark holiday and I also think it's stupid that it's the only day that guys will go out and buy a girl flowers. Here's a hint guys, you can get them ANY DAY!!! And they'd mean a lot more if you gave them to us just because it's a Thursday.

Saying that, the only person I get something for is my Mom because she's an amazing woman who does a lot of the family and I love her very much. So this year I got her some flowers because she loves flowers and I also got her a giraffe because lets face it why give someone a bear? Everyone gets a bear for Valentines Day (I've gotten plenty and it gets a little boring) I like to mix things up, I saw this in the store and had to get it for her. And guess what, she absolutely LOVED it! Her face lit up like it was Christmas! And I'm glad I could make her happy, it made me happy. :)

Look at how happy she is!!
Love you Mom :)

Bored at work.

So right around 4:45 I get to the point where I just don't want to work anymore and every now and then I'll see something at work that catches my eye and I'm really glad I have my point and shoot on me :)

35 mm film! :)

So today I was at NESoP and I was scanning some film from first year of school. It was from a self portrait project I did using cross processed film, I shot it at a barn in New Hampshire. It was a lot of fun to do and I really want to continue with it but I'm not sure how. My reasoning for wearing the purple dress at the barn was that it was that I didn't belong there (I know, I know it's not much to go on). So now I want to find some more places where dresses are not the first thing you'd think to wear there...

Anyways, here are some photos from the project. I haven't edited them at all, this is just scanned film. I'm not sure how I want them to look yet.

These animals were SO cute! I got to
hold the baby goat it was so cool,
I loved it!
