"She's 4 on the inside"

Saturday night I went baby sitting with my sister so I wasn't hanging around the house being bored all night like I always do. It was a lot of fun. I've know this family since I was 8 years old (Holy crap thats 13 years!!)

Only Katie was there, Maggie was at sleep away camp so I was pretty bummed I only got to hang out with one of them. Anyways, I suggested that we go to the playground because they have a kick ass playground near their house.

Once we got there, Katie and I raced down the giant slides that they have. At first I was winning, until I got towards the bottle and discovered that there is a HUGE bump and I went flying into the air and landed on the slide and whacked my elbow. As I'm lying on the bottom of the slide rubbing my elbow, Katie comes up to me and say "Oh I thought you knew about the bump." "No Katie I did not."

Injury number one.

Then I was pushing Katie and two other little girls on the tire swing, having fun, not pushing them too hard or too crazy. And they tell me to go faster so I pick it up a little bit, I'm starting to get into it so I'm running back and forth pushing them having a ball. When suddenly while running and pushing I loose my traction and slip and fall and scratch my knee all up. Wood chips are dangerous and slippery and should not be at parks. What happen to that blue squishy stuff they have these days??

Injury number two.

So needless to say I was very cautious the rest of our trip at the park. We made new friends and we rode on cars and trains and wore our seat belts and went to get ice cream and had a lot of fun! One of the other mothers was talking to Jen asking how old we were so Jen told her, I'm 24 and she is 21. And then Katie walks up and says "Yea but she's 4 on the inside." Hahaha I love that little girl, she really gets me :)

I was clearly winning.

Until I got injury number one.

Well this started off well.

her seat belt or we're not getting ice cream.

She didn't want to listen.

I used to absolutely LOVE this show!!! I was only 9 when it came out and I already loved Ryan Reynolds!!

Yesterday, we found out that my dog had cancer. It was very sudden and unexpected. So we had to put him to sleep.

He loved the snow and to play in the leaves. Christmas and birthdays were his favorite time of year because he loved to shread the wrapping paper. He was terrified of thunder and lightning storms, he would hide up on the third floor or in the corner of the den thinking that would help. He hated the 4th of July because the sound of the fireworks hurt his ears. When he wanted attention he would bark and then jump up on the couch or near by bed. He absolutely loved to have the back of his ears rubbed, Aunt Joanne started that for him. Everyone loved him even though he hated almost all of our friends that came over to the house. He'd still to this day, would always growl at Meaghan when she walked in the house even though she was there the day we brought him home in 1998.

He was my second oldest friend, I knew him for over 11 years and I miss him so much. Here are a few of my favorite Dante pictures. MANY more to come. I love you Dante. ♥
