Memorial Day

I thought it best to spend Memorial Day at the beach with my best friend, my sister, and her best friend. It was fantastic, well except for all the smoke from Canada. Thanks again for that jerks!

Anyways, we spent a few hours at Castle Island then made our way back home and hit up my roof. Now I hadn't been up there in years so it was super fun, but REALLY hot! We only stayed up there for about 45 minutes because we couldn't handle the heat.

To finish the day, we brought the cooler full of beers down the den and watched Step Brothers without having to get up to get a beer. It was fantastic!

Farewell Our Lady of Mercy.

Today they tore down the church I grew up in. I went to the 10 o'clock mass every Sunday with my family. My brother was the alter boy until the church closed when he was 22. I got baptized there and made my first communion there. I would have liked to get married there. Today was probably one of the saddest days of my life, top 10 at least.

Me and my sister went down there while they were tearing it down. It was really sad to watch, but I'm glad I got to see it

Lunch Time Walks.

So it was super nice out and I decided to take my half hour lunch and go for a walk. Nothing too exciting, just a few shots.

And then when you want to forget about it or get over it, you just can't? Or get mad about the stupidest things and when you tell someone about it they think you're crazy? Or they try to make it better but it just makes you even more mad?

Plastic Camera Fun!

So as I've already mentioned, I bought a plastic camera for $3.00 in Fullerton. This is my new favorite camera. I get light leaks that I love, and I never know if the picture will come out or not.

Since getting back home, I've been shooting with it a lot. I always have it on me and shoot whatever I see that makes me smile.

Film from CA!

Ok guys I finally got all the film back that I shot in California when I was there in the beginning of April. Now most of it I shot on a little plastic camera I got for $3.00 at a second hand store. This is probably my new favorite camera. I never know how the pictures will come out. I can't really explain it, I just love it. So saying that the quality of some of the photos is kinda bad but I love it. Some of the photos are panoramic cause the camera had a piece in it that I had to take out.
